The Virtual Federal University aims to provide a free, quality education for Myanmar federal democracy. We will act as a facilitator for peer-to-peer teaching and learning and to collaborate with independent universities and schools in liberated and federated areas such as Kachin, Karen, Mon, Shan, and Karenni as well as autonomous universities from the cities such as Yangon and Mandalay.

On The Ground Programs
Teacher Education is one of the cruel elements to transform in constructing the federal communities. Thus, VFU has addressed to response the emergency in educations need of on host around the country through technical supports, organizing the children who are marginalized, coaching, and mentoring to the volunteer teachers, providing the parenting education to the parents and teachers, coordination with local resources person.
From 4th of April to the 30th of June 2022, VFU implemented the pre-service teachers training (on ground training) for the community teachers around Myanmar. There are two main courses: foundation of teacher’s education and Subject teaching. After the training, the community volunteer teachers have been serving in some IDPs camp, community-based learning centers. After that, in November and December of 2022, the refresher training for those who serving had happened to upgrade their competency and construct the strong relationship of among them to move the next step.
​The previous years, VFU has also regularly monitored to the community learning centers and IDP camp for engaging with parents, teachers and students to be more responsive services. Additionally, text books, teachers references books and children books have been supported to on ground situation.
